Murrells Inlet
|
Project consisted of dredging 20,000 cubic yards of
material from three access channels in Murrells Inlet, SC.
JGT
developed a unique GeotubeŽ disposal alternative for a
particularly environmentally sensitive area.
Services performed included preparation and submittal of
environmental permit applications, coordination with regulatory agencies
to adhere to special conditions under the permit, development of plans and
specifications, and oversight of required sediment testing.
JGT
also administered the bidding process, project scheduling,
procurement, and construction observation as well as constant coordination
with Contractor to ensure permit compliance.
